Open Streets is inherently fun which was the major initial attraction for me but the more I participated, the more I began to understand its true value. Getting involved in a motivating initiative that speaks to my personal beliefs was a natural next step.

If Open Streets achieves its goals, Cape Town will see greater inter-community integration. The spin off benefits of better understanding, respect and breaking down cultural barriers will contribute to transformation across our country.
