I am involved with Open Streets because together we are creating, in front of our eyes, the future we want to see. By taking part, I strengthen my belief that change is possible and am re-energised with optimism. There's nothing clever about dedicating our cities to 2-tonne metal machines carrying one passenger & spewing out fumes for pedestrians to breathe. Open Streets doesn't change all that overnight. But it helps us to think smarter in our everyday lives; to create spaces for people, children, exercise and nature.
